After working in dozens upon dozens of bars, clubs, and restaurants 4-5 nights a week over the past 18 years (here are a few: Air Transport Command, Village Center Inn, Rusty Rudder, The Lighthouse, North Beach, The Summerhouse, and many many more) DJ Rick is finally sort of winding down the on whole Night Club part of the business.  I'm now only doing 1 night a week, at one of my all time favorite Bars.  McGlynn's in Polly Drummond.  After playing thousands of full on dance nights, this feels like a nice fit for me.  It's billed as Oldies Night.  The format is mainly 70's and 80's and probably 90% of the music is selected by request of the patrons.  There is a really nice mix of folks who show up at McGlynn's every Wednesday night, and the requests are usually right on target!  Sometimes they dance, and sometimes they just hang out with their friends and tap their feet, and enjoy the night.  Either way, everyone there seems to have a great time.  Including me.  In the coming days and weeks I will be sure to take some pictures and load them here.  Stay Tuned.
